PPG Study Program at Hamzanwadi University Successfully Holds Coaching Clinic for Scientific Article Writing

Tuesday, October 21, 2025 – The Teacher Professional Education (PPG) study program at Hamzanwadi University successfully held a coaching clinic on scientific article writing. This event is one of the programs planned by PPG to support the successful implementation of the 2025 Teacher Education Institute Revitalization Program towards an excellent and quality PPG study program.

The resource person for this activity was Dr. Agus Machfud Fauzi, M.Si. from Surabaya State University, and it was attended by 57 lecturers from Hamzanwadi University.

The Director of Research and Community Service, Dr. Shahibul Ahyan, M.Pd., in his speech, stated that this activity is highly beneficial for improving the quality of lecturers' scientific articles. "Researching and writing articles must become a culture for our lecturers so that they feel pleased and happy when engaging in these activities," he said. The intended output of this activity is the publication of scientific articles in accredited national SINTA 2 journals or reputable international journals, which will be beneficial for lecturers proposing for the Academic Functional Positions of Associate Professor or Professor.

This program deserves to be adopted by DPPM as one of its priority programs to further enhance the quantity and quality of publications by Hamzanwadi University lecturers, making them more impactful. Following this event, DPPM will provide intensive mentoring until the lecturers' articles are published.
