DPPM and BRIDA NTB: Strategic Collaboration for Impactful Research
Mataram, April 29, 2026 — The Director of DPPM Universitas Hamzanwadi, representing the Rector, attended a strategic discussion with BRIDA Provinsi NTB. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration to support regional development in West Nusa Tenggara through enhanced partnerships between the provincial government and higher education institutions.
During the discussion, it was agreed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would be established between the Provincial Government of NTB and universities, particularly for institutions that have not yet established or have expired agreements. In addition, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) will be signed between BRIDA and LPPM across NTB as a concrete step to strengthen synergy in research and innovation.
The Head of BRIDA NTB stated that BRIDA serves as the main orchestrator in ensuring that research and innovation generate tangible impacts for society. BRIDA also plans to organize a special competition for young researchers to encourage the emergence of fresh and applicable ideas. This collaboration aims to address regional challenges, explore local potential, and support development priorities in NTB, while reaffirming the commitment of DPPM Universitas Hamzanwadi to building an applied and competitive research and innovation ecosystem.
