Universitas Hamzanwadi Strengthens Global Networks through Participation in the 2026 International Conference in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Universitas Hamzanwadi participated in the International Conference 2026, held from July 3–6, 2026, at the International Islamic University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The conference carried the theme “Advancing Global Collaboration in Science, Technology, Education, and Sustainable Tourism” as a strategic platform to enhance international collaboration across disciplines.
During the event, Prof. Dr. H. Khirjan Nahdi, M.Hum., represented Universitas Hamzanwadi as an invited speaker alongside scholars from leading institutions, including Universitas Negeri Mataram, International Islamic University Malaysia, the University of Torino, and the United Arab Emirates University. He presented a study emphasizing the importance of teacher capacity and culturally responsive curricula in supporting inclusive education for Sasak learners in Lombok.
The study highlights that integrating local culture into the learning process can improve students’ comprehension, confidence, and engagement, although its implementation still requires further strengthening. This participation reflects Universitas Hamzanwadi’s commitment to enhancing academic quality and expanding sustainable global collaboration networks.
