Kemenkum NTB Successfully Organizes IP Center ToT to Strengthen Intellectual Property Services

Mataram – The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law of Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) has successfully conducted the Intellectual Property (IP) Center Training of Trainers (ToT) from June 9 to 11, 2026, at Aston Inn Mataram Hotel. This activity is part of a strategic effort to enhance the capacity and competence of IP Center managers in the NTB region, thereby supporting the strengthening of intellectual property services at the regional level.

The ToT was attended by representatives from various institutions and agencies, including regional government organizations and universities within NTB Province. Throughout the training, participants received comprehensive instruction covering the fundamentals of intellectual property, the practical steps for creating IP accounts, and simulations of IP applications, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and industrial designs. In addition, participants gained insight into effective IP service governance and management within IP Centers and related institutions.

Through this activity, it is expected that participants will be able to implement the knowledge and skills acquired to support the improvement of intellectual property service quality within their respective institutions. The activity, which concluded with an evaluation session, is anticipated to strengthen the role of IP Centers as hubs for IP protection services and facilitation, while also promoting sustainable innovation and creativity in Nusa Tenggara Barat.
