Universitas Hamzanwadi and Plan Indonesia Hold InnovAItion Training Series on the Utilization of Generative AI

Pancor, March 10, 2026 – Universitas Hamzanwadi, in collaboration with Plan Indonesia, held an online training series called InnovAItion with the topic "Optimizing Lecture Assignments with Generative AI Gemini," which was attended by approximately 400 students. This activity aims to improve digital literacy and student skills in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology productively and responsibly to support the learning process in higher education.

The training featured Dini Arifah, AI Skilling for Young Workers Project Manager from Plan Indonesia, and Rohmat Ramadhan, Learning Product Lead at IODA Academy and a Google Certified Trainer. Participants were introduced to the basic concepts of generative AI and practical ways to utilize it to help students optimize their coursework, from generating ideas to compiling academic material more effectively.

The Head of the GEDSI Research and Development Center at Universitas Hamzanwadi, Desi Ariska, M.Psi, stated that this activity is a crucial step in preparing students to utilize AI technology critically, creatively, and ethically. Through this training, students are expected to be better prepared to face the challenges of the digital era and to be able to use AI to support their academic success and future competency development.
