Universitas Hamzanwadi Secures 18 Research and Community Service Grants for 2026
Pancor, April 9, 2026 — Universitas Hamzanwadi has once again achieved a notable milestone by securing a total of 18 grants for the 2026 fiscal year, consisting of 14 research grants and 4 community service grants. This achievement is based on the official announcement from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology through the Directorate General of Research and Development, dated April 9, 2026.
The research grants obtained cover several strategic schemes, including Beginning Lecturer Research, Fundamental – Regular Research, and Applied Research – Model Output Research. Faculty members from various study programs have contributed to this success, including those from the fields of Statistics, Informatics, Mathematics Education, and Geography Education. Meanwhile, in the area of community service, grants were secured through the schemes of Community Partnership Empowerment, Student-Led Community Empowerment, and the Archipelago Arts Innovation Program.
This year’s achievement also marks an important milestone, as for the first time Universitas Hamzanwadi has successfully obtained a grant under the Applied Research – Model Output scheme, which emphasizes applicative research outcomes and produces models that can be implemented in real-world settings. Furthermore, another source of pride is the involvement of two master’s (S2) study programs, namely S2 Elementary Education and another S2 program, which also succeeded in securing grants. This success serves as an indicator of the growing research capacity at the postgraduate level within the university.
Overall, the attainment of these grants reflects Universitas Hamzanwadi’s commitment to strengthening the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the fields of research and community service.
